Hi everyone,

I need to remove the rear air diffuser ( i believe that is the propper name ) on my e36 m3. I just mounted an eisenman (sp?) race exhaust and it's too wide to be bolted into the stock exhaust position. Thus, I'm going to take the air diffuser off and into a quality body shop to have it augmented a little to fit my exhaust. However, i would like to a save a little money, plus have my car for the day and take the thing off by myself. I was looking under the car yesterday an noticed its bolted in by what looks like plastic screws or pins. I don't want to mess it up, so if anyone could advise me on how to take this thing off I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks,

Jordan

Remove the two screws in the lower corners, remove the two plastic pins just inward from them, then pull the diffuser straight back. Piece of cake.

thank you for the advice, do the pins just pull out or is there a specific way that I need to remove them?

Pull the pins out of the centers, then remove them. They pull right out after the center is removed.
