95 M3. Prewired for the CD changer, but no CD changer. Can I pull an iPod back there?
Don't laugh.

um, sure you can. you just need to have a deck that has pre-amp inputs, then run rca's from it to the trunk.
c'mon, using the stock wiring designed for a cd changer in 1995 for an Ipod? Just get an alpine deck that controls the ipod.
then change the stock amp
and stock speakers
all there is to it.

I think you might be looking for something like this:

I don't know why you can't use it with a '95 though. Do a little searching, esp in the audi forum, I think there has been some discussion on 95's before.

Unfortunately, the adapter for the CD-changer port won't work with pre-1996 cars.
I wired up the apple ipod dock into my e36 using a wired fm modulator instead and I absolutely love the setup. Here's the thread about the install: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218419
