I have Sparco Monza (bottom mount-reclinable) seats. Does anyone know if I can use the TC Kline mounts for my seats? In other words, do the Sparco and Recaro sliders have the same mounting points?
The reason I ask is because the Sparco base mounts I have leave the seat a little too high. It would be fine if I didn't track my car, but I don't have enough head room with my helmet on. I'd appreciate any input.
TIA

Man is this amazing, I thought I was the only one in this boat. I'm 6'6", and have the exact same problem. The TCKline mounting stuff does not work, I've already tried. I've resorted to having a local machine shop mock me up some brackets out of 1.5in square tubing. It'll lower the seat about an inch.
Oh, you might also want to check out VAC Motorsports. VAC Motorsports (http://www.vacmotorsports.com) They have some slick mounting harware, only 3/4 inch tall. Even I would have to use a pillow to see over the steering wheel with those. However, all you would need to do is install some washers as spacers to raise or lower the seat height.

Are you sure we can't use the TC Kline mounts with Sparco sliders? I've sent the dimensions to TC to see if the holes don't line up if they might match up to the hardware. Drill a couple holes and make them work. I'll let you know what they say.
If not, I'll be going with the VAC mounts and some spacers.

I have a set of tckr brackets and a sparco fighter seat with sparco sliders, ive already tried. The holes are completely different, Recaro holes are too wide and too short, so you would have to weld on some new extensions, and then drill 4 new holes. If you dont believe me, I have a driver side mounting bracket from tc with the recaro slider. Its only $100 + shipping. Its yours if you want it.
