>From what I heard from the guys at AA. You're car was running away from
the other OBD-II turbo cars they have there at 130mph.

The wheels are from CEC in Jersey .. They gave them to me for the European Car shoot what do you guys think ?? I am not to crazy about Antera but this wheel is pretty hot bieng that it's there newest wheel

I am not too crazy about the wheels. I think the AC's or other brand would look better. Any numbers yet off the dyno? I would like to see what ///Mini ///Me could do when it stretches her legs. When are you going to be in Miami to pick her up? I would like to meet up and maybe have an ///M run when you are down.

Later,

CO

PS. Where is the CF hood from, DTMAutohaus?

Just curious to why you didnt buy the one with the vents? That would have definitely given your car a meaner look. Lets see if we set up a meet when you come down, I would like to get a look at your car. When is the photo shoot for Euro. Car?

Later,

The photoshoot for EC was this past Sunday (2/25). The car looks wicked all dressed up and nice.

Hey Blown, if you don't like the wheels, you can always give them to me :D I'm sure they'd fit well on my car.

You're going to have fun driving that car, I heard all the stories about when they were driving it. In 2nd gear, it burns more tires than most cars dumping the clutch in 1st. I didn't get to ride in it, I only got to take the pictures. They pulled it into the shop for me so I could take the pictures inside instead of in the hot sun.

The car is totally unbelievable.

Dayam that is nice. Hey, i had an idea for ur car. You know that monitor you have? I think it's pretty sick the way it is, but what would be even cooler is if it could fold down and go back into the dash. Also, when back in the dash, have it continue that rounded edge look on the dash so it;s completely stealth....just a thought. But awesome car....what stage turbo is in ur car?

btw, nice amps

That's the way I had it and The system place made me a covewr that looked like my center vent's .. After I would run the car hard I guess from hard cornering and just hitting the gas hard the rail would go off course and it was a pain in the ass .. The motor for it was placed in the passenger side airbag space but I needed that beacuse I installed my PS2 in my 1/4 pannel where my CD changer was and put the Mobil ES changer in the airbag spot ... So i had to take the motor out... The down fall for having a small car ... I got all Stage 3 part's with Frankenstien Turbo unit and the black grill on drivers side is wherew the NOS is hiding... 50-75hp shot that shut's off when 6psi is made .. Thank's to AA

Dude...ur ride is sick....you;ve done a very very nice job. So with the stage 3 u should have like 500 hp? The only problem now is traction....wide body anyone?

an M3 motor transplant, plus the AA turbo, plus the required drivetrain upgrade, plus the brakes, plus the wheels, plus the stereo, plus the lights, plus the suspension, plus the hood, plus, plus, plus, plus .....

You must have twice the amount of money in mods as that car cost brand new!

For crap's sake, why didn't you save yourself a lot of time and buy a Porsche turbo?

yeah it's unique, but I think I'd rather have the babe-magnet Porsche! Even if only for the resale value.

I already admitted all that. Just would not be worth it for me to spend that much money and still be driving a TI, but that's just my opinion. Blown //M obviously does not share my opinion.

A long time ago, before microprocessor control of nitrous, I blew up my CRX motor with an NOS system. Since then I've decided that if I need more horsepower, it's better to buy a car designed for that horsepower rather than try to mod the hell out of a low-power car. Now with an M3, you have to spend a fortune to get a higher-powered, better-handling car, so trying to make more horsepower with an M3 makes some sense.

Does it make sense to do so with a TI? You have to answer that for yourself. No doubt, it is the baddest TI.

Now ask yourself this M3 Pete for almost the same price of a new M3 in 97 which I was going to buy I have something that can run laps around your 97 and most M3 's out there .. Plus I can turn around and sell it for more than you proboubly can a 97 M3 .... I did it mostly to be different and not just buy an M and hook it up any fool with Money can do it .. It takes a desire to build one better from nothing..Everything on the car is M3 or a performance upgrade for am M3. I am not saying that if you own M3 hooked your a fool but just taking it where you did . BMW in no way is a Honda let alone a CRX..

Looks like a screamer... can't wait to see some numbers.

Is that a Brembo brake kit? For some reason, the rear rotor looks smaller than I expected - or are those rims just that big? :)

Cheers,
Dave

its also about what you want from the car. if you want to go fast i'd save blown's way kicks butt, but for me i need more practicality and bigger back seats etc...to each his own. blown has done a nice job =)
