Should I polish my double spokes II's?

I will getting some new tires and in the meantime I wanna take the rims and tires off and polish the lips only and leave it the way it is, just the polished lip like the black look but do not want it now.

Anyone have good pics of this done to a dsII? Alos, is there a cheaper way to remove the tire without paying the local shop?

Isn't it, like, $10 or less to remove the tire? Just take it to your local shop and be done with it. The polished lip will look good.

im cheap, 40 bucks there 5 buck tip, 550 for new tires and over 50 for some sand and polish shine...

will cost me the price of a new set of rims. But I guess the end will be worth it.

Anyone got pics? Of the 2.5 inch rear lip?
