Hi everyone,

This is a set of four Double-Spoke I's that came off my M3 a while back. The catch is that although they have no obvious visual bends, all four are slightly out of round.

They are repairable -- wheel shops charge $75-100 to straighten a wheel this size, so if someone wants to buy them and fix them I will let them go pretty cheap.

If anyone wants just one for a full-size spare, I will part them out. $40 each plus shipping. If you want all four just make an offer; I will work with you on the price. All centercaps included.

Thanks! :cool

Yes, they are genuine original BMW wheels.

For all four, $145. Shipping will probably be another $40-60 depending on where you live. If you give me your zip I will get you a more accurate quote.

"out of round" meaning they don't hold air in their current state? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm just unsure as to exactly what "out of round" means.

free bump,

but I was wondering as well, will the wheels balance at least? Or will they not do that either, I'm pretty sure all my wheels are not perfectly round either but it still balances.

They are "out of round" enough to cause pretty substantial vibration at highway speeds. They will also screw up your alignment and do who knows what else to your suspension if you drive on them very long. But yes, they will hold air and they will balance out okay. I would recommend fixing them before mounting tires, but that's up to you...

How do you out of round all 4 rims ?Kind of a long story, but the short answer is they were bent when I got them. Paid over $500 for these wheels last year, and when I complained that three of them were bent the seller told me to take a hike. (Watch out for him as he is also a member here -- "Bassmaster.") I killed the fourth one on a pothole some time ago.
