Any year E36, i assume they all fit. I need the entire Driver side door and the front quarter panel. No color preference. Prefer locals (Northern California).

Sorry, 2 door coupe.

I need this asap because my door just snapped off my car. If I don't get any leads within the next 12 hours, I'll have to resort to buying one from "Alex" in San Francisco.

do you mean the door panels or the actual doors?

I need the actual driver-side door and the window as well.

I have one. But it is kind of beat up at the front part of it. I mean it is still useable and all. where in CA are you?

I'm located in San Jose. A pretty far distance from Irvine. I already spoke to "Alex" and he has all the parts i need. After all the stories I've heard, I'm slightly hestitant but i really do not have a choice at this point.

Also, how difficult is it to R&R a door? is it a 2-man job? Anything I should take note of?

ah ok, sorry, thought you were in socal :P

R&R? repair and replace?

Took me 15 mins the first time? And like half the 2nd time. The door is heavy, make sure you find a place to put it down that wont scratch it. And use a towel or something to hold onto it if you have to put your hand someplace where it is kind sharp.

Sorry for the acronym and poorly stated posts. I'm slightly flustered after the damaged that occured about an hour ago.

I looked at the door and there appears to be three hinges. The top and bottom ones are conventional hinges and appear to be salvagable. However, the middle piece which looks like a silver blade has snapped off the door. Will the door still work w/o this piece?

Also, what about the wiring issue? Will I have to splice or is it just a simple disconnect and reconnect?

that silver part in the middle has been broke on my door for ver a year now, you dont need it and im to cheep to get it fixed also the wires it unplugs and than plugsback in with the new door.but anyway the got a guy rightbu my house parting out a 2 door and the doors on it are good i can buy the door from him and ship it to you.but the shipping would be expensive between the price of the door and the shipping the whole deal prolly gonna run you like 265

Thats great to hear that the silver hinge is not necessary. I panicked when I saw that piece snapped in half. Wiring sounds like a snap so thats one less thing to worry about. Let me try this guy out in San Francisco tomorrow and see how the door looks like. If its junk, i'll definitely send you a PM. Thanks for all the help guys.

Also, is the front fender an easy replacement job? Just a bunch of nuts to unscrew and it should come off, correct?

fenders are easy too, just a few screws, dont scratch the car ;)

and that center peice just holds the door out for you, kind of like a hood shock, but for doors.

too bad you dont live in socal :P
