I spent the better part of the day replaing the clutch on my 92 325i w/ the Pelican Parts Super kit. I'm going to put the tranny back on in the AM...but i'm sort of in a panic about the clutch direction. One side of the clutch has a longer spline. I installed it with the longer side facing the engine. Is that correct? I would hate to mount the tranny to find I scewed up bad! Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you can spin the clutch disk freely then you did it right. If you put it in backwards it will contact the flywheel bolts when you spin it by hand.
Also, I'm not positive but you should see "motorsite" on one side and that means "motor side" in german.

It spun free on both sides. It might be worth taking it off and checking before re-assembly. Thanks for the insight.
