328is vs. stock 5.0????

Ive got a friend with a 95 mustang. You know how they put the 5.0 in newer non fox body styles for one year. There quite a bit slower than the fox bodys and im pretty sure there 15 second cars. I was just curious if an e36 328i would stand a chance against one.

Well isnt it true that a 328is can run mid 14's. I know this stang and driver cant do that.

Hey man, I've raced a few Mustang GT 5.0's and haven't lost to one. Also, yes, E36 328 5 speeds with a good driver should be able to hit 14.7-14.9.

The famed 5L is very tuneable for very cheap, but stock it's a non-threat.

Yep, sooo cheap to make fast. I know someone who took a 5L Fox body and with 4 or 5 grand in new and used parts made it run 10s all day. Ridiculous.

fox body is 93 and below trunk model witch is favored among ford guys becouse its lighter.is your 328 stock and is it a 5 speed? i dont think i saw that noted.either way i love eating up those 5.0 guys with my starion
