Bimmerfest Collision HELP!!

I'm posting this text on behalf of Michelle (BMW CCA - Puget Sound (Seattle) Chapter member, from a post on the BMW CCA - LA Chapter Yahoo groups board since DTM Power helped with caravaning up to Bimmerfest.

This is in regards to the rear-ending of a 1980 320is (owner is Michelle) by a 2000/2001 Silver X5 driven by a young girl named Katrice. The X5 owner has not respond back so what is need is witnesses to the rear-ending. Here's the post....

This is Michelle and my was perfect 1980 320is was backed into at the
Glendale meeting point for the Bimmerfest Caravan. I need any one who
witnessed the collission and/or was there and heard Katrice admit
fault to contact me at mierz@usc.edu ASAP because the X5 who hit me
is not returning the calls of the claims office. I would like to
begin to have my car fixed, as would any BMW enthusiast. Please help
me as I was sitting still and got backed into and now I can't drive
my car in the rain and I can't stand to have my heart broken every
time I wallk up to my car.

that f*cked up...you would think all bimmer enthusiasts would be more civl to each other.
