I'm looking to get a 1995 M3 shift boot for my auto/man. tran. swap in my '93 325i.

Will the boot fit my console? I thought the bootring was the same for both coupe and sedan consoles. :confused

They're all the same.

They're all the same.
Yup.

You can also get an aftermarket shift boot in suede or colored leather (that's what I got).

they are the same in all E36's from the Ti to the vert regardless of motor.

fyi - an M3 boot has nothing over a 325i boot. materials are generall the same unless you're looking for something baller in which you'd have to go aftermarket.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm trying to finish my auto/man. swap kit. I've got the ZF,driveshaft, pedals and shifter linkage. Just need the loose ends to finish it.

I've got a M3 boot held for purchase and we wanted to make sure that it would work in my car.

I'll go for baller later. Right now I just want a damn stick in my car!
