I bought this car in March 03 from former NBA player Dennis Hopson with 45k miles. It now has 55,4XX miles. It's VIN is WBAGK2324SDH66231. This car is in absolutely perfect condition inside and outside, better than 99.9% of 1995 cars. This is the cleanest E38 you will ever see, regardless of year. The engine sounds perfect and the AC blows cold air. Half of the 10k miles that we drove were highway miles.

Here are the exterior mods:
Clear bra
Clear corners
Painted side skirts
ACS Front clip
ACS Rear clip
ACS Exhaust tips
20" Hartge Nova 14 wheels
255/35-20 Pirelli Pzero tires front
285/30-20 Yokohama AVS tires rear
Mercedes V12 emblem

It also has an awesome sound system with 1000W of Precision Power amps, Phoenix Gold cables, and an 18 disc cd changer. Regarding the subwoofers, Dennis himself did not know what brand or model they are, but they are LOUD. I haven't tried to access them in fear of damaging the sound system. I only said they are Clarion in my cardomain because that was the only thing I could think of off the top of my head.

The car is also lowered with a noticeably stiffer suspension. But like the sound system, Dennis didn't know the specifics either. The suspension and wheel guys did a good job though. The car has never rubbed or bottomed out. This car has slightly more road noise than a stock E38 due to the high-performance tires. It feels planted as hell on paved roads and 100mph feels like 40mph.

If you do a carfax of the car, it will tell of one collision. Dennis told us that the car was gently rear-ended and that only the bumper was damaged, which is why he put the ACS Rear clip on. He said that the accident was so slight that he wondered why the police even bothered to report it.

The only problems with the car are:
1. The rear sunshade doesn't come up anymore, probably damaged from sound system installation. My BMW dealer didn't try to fix it in fear of damaging the sound system.
2. The pixels on the LCD displays on the center console fell off, but this is very common for all older E38's.
3. The backlight on the head unit recently went out. It still works, but must be under direct sunlight in order to see the display.

This car is beautiful and will get you attention everywhere you drive it. Recently on a trip to dallas, a lady in a van claimed that it was the most beautiful car she's ever seen. I'm selling this car because I need the money to pay for my new X5. I want to see this car with a nice new home. I'm asking $24,500. PM me(Yan) with any questions or call (405)321-4862.
