I've got one out of a 99 M3. Let me check the ETK and see if it crosses over to the E39.

EDIT: Couldn't find the ABS contoller for the E39 in the ETK. The P/N on the unit I have is 34521164023. Let me know if that matches up with yours.

The ETK lists 3 different part numbers for the 99 528iABS (mfg'd 09/98), I've heard they have a total of 5 different Bosch version from 9/98 to 3/2000
