What do you guys think of this 2001 530i

Hey guys, I am new to BMW forums but not forums or BMW's. I am looking for a good deal on a BMW 5 series on ebay and I stumbled across this one. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe it works differently in Texas, but my understanding of a Salvage Title is that it happens when the cost to repair exceeds the value of the car. That sounds like more than "slight collision damage".

An yeah, I know that there are some other circumstances where a Salvage Title might be obtained, but the CarFax shows only indicators of an accident and repair.

I really appreciate it, I dont want a 540 because of the V8 being such a gas hog. If anyone finds a good deal on a 530i or a 3 series that is the year 2001 or newer I would appreciate it.

I get 17.4 MPG between city/freeway driving in my 540i, and the damn thing's 10 years old.

I beg you pardon! :eyecrazy I get 20.5 mpg on average out of my 540i and my foot is not the litest one I tell you.
I would not screw with this one, cos the only salvage car I would own would be if I fixed it myself, or it was fixed under my gentle supervision.
