busted fog light on e34. ebay lights ok, or go oem?

my left fog light when i bought it had a crack and a small hole in the lense, but the light worked fine. i didn't feel like spending money to replace it since i bought the car to save money, well now that its the rainy season i guess some water got in there and messed up the bulb. i now plan on replacing both lights, unlessi can buy just the clear plastic lense for the left one. and new bulbs of course.

i have not seen lenses only sold anywhere but if you know of them please tell me. otherwise id like to know where i can buy a good set of fog lights. the sites that sell a lot of replacement parts want like 90 bucks per side, but on ebay they are going for 90 a set. is there something i need to look for when buying these lights?

and what kind of bulb goes into them, and its it worth ulpgrading if everything else is stock? as in i don't want fog lights brighter then my driving lights/high beams

as far as ebay products or any aftermarket product just remember to reseal the edges with clear silicone and stay within your budget you might be able to find someone trying to sell just one fog light on ebay keep on searching.

damn 50 bucks for lenses after shipping is a lot. i think im going to go give the dealership a shot just incase it somehow cheaper :S

when the young guys aren't working there i usually get a discount on parts, but if they are there then they don't give you a break because they think their special for working in a dealership or some crap like that.

if you dont have the projector lights in the fogs...upgrade em to the projection ones.
