Does anyone have any history with either Moven or Monet wheels? I'm considering 19" wheels and both companies have the wheel I'm interested in, so I'm trying to determine if one is better than the other:

If you have a dark coloured machine then I would recommend the monet wheels... Chrome always goes well with black... Provided that you like that particular look of course.

Actually, I'm considered the same finish from either manufacturer -- silver, not chrome (see photo). I just interested in knowing if one manufacturer is better than the other....

Thanks.

my guess is there is a few companies out there making the replica ham. wheels and they just stick their company logo on the center cap. so either one could be the same as the other acctually.

Great looking wheels! Can't locate a price on them though. Any idea what the 18's run?

Here's a company that sells both MOVEN and MONET: http://www.coolwheels.com/

Although they look similar to the Hamann PG2, each manufacturer has named them differently.

Moven calls them "RG5's". Monet calls them "BOHEMIAN's".
The 19" wheels run about $300/wheel. Moven's are a bit cheaper at about $280/wheel. 18" wheels would obviously be cheaper yet.

Someone told me that Moven bought out Monet, and that basically both wheels come from the same manufacturing plant.

The salesperson from CoolWheels.com said there's really no difference between the two. If Monet's are out of stock, they sell Moven's, and vice versa.

I'd still like to hear from someone with real world experience with either of these brand of wheels.... anyone? well..... anyone out there?
