going to rince off the salt tomorrow when the roads dry up. no point in getting the salt off when the roads are wet and it only gets back on in one mile of driving. The roads should be dryer tomorrow.

Dan,

Great looking wheels for winter. You bought those tires from my brother in law. Great guy, he slightly misses his 540, but loves his M5 replacement. RSR is truly a man that enjoys to drive fast and as his passanger it can get scary. Roll Bimmer Roll...

yeah, it was great meeting him. this was the first "mod" (if you can call it that) i got for the 540. I'm actually going to be selling these after the season since i'm really looking for 17" snow tires. The speedo on my 5 is way off. i think a 525/528 would work fine since it's going to be their stock tire size in the same 16" rims.

hate to sell it but i think i've got to so i don't end up racking on phantom miles. the more i look at these rims the more i like them.

What's up with you digging up old posts just because they deal with RSR? At least this one's from 2004, the other one was from 2003. Give it a rest.

he's related to steve. He probably looked up steve's posts and saw this and decided to comment on steve.

sometimes old posts needs to have closure... some are just left in limbo and forgotten until search brings it up.

i know i'm guilty of bring up old posts but i find some answers... inadequite. like the thrust arm that atomicblueberry (what a name) finally gave us a closure to use X5 ones. that's the answer i was hoping to find then some saying "well... this" or "well... that".

bad day dwayne? don't worry, you are not alone.

bad day dwayne? don't worry, you are not alone.I think it's just the itching-to-find-a-job-that's-a-step-up syndrome. Apologies to anyone I've been rude to, I'll do better. :)

Btw, the wheels look similar to the set I picked up. No problems with mine so far, either, even though the tires are at about 50% it's still a friggin tank in heavy snow.

I'm at a small company, worked here part time during college for a year and a half before graduating and going fulltime Jan '04 (as a software engineer). I'm still at the same pay as when I started fulltime, performance reviews have been mentioned but never performed, no 401K, work isn't that challenging, etc. So, I'm not even bothering to ask for a raise, just looking for something else.

whatever you do, DO NOT WORK FOR JP MORGAN CHASE/BANK ONE!!! i will warn you now. they do not pay for shit. they just cut OT for consultants to 70% of your regular time. oh, that's if you get OT. consultants are only allowed to work 32 hours and have to get approval for anything over that.

i'm looking to go back to a German company or at least a decent Euro company. Their health benefits and ideology is so much better.

email me dwayne, i have a friend that might help you out. know any cisco guys? there's lots of things open here for $50/hr+ and it's not for cisco pros either.

HA HA HA, I hate BankOne and all the attached names:) BankOne is like the most outdated bank in the whole world, ther mainframes are dating back to early 80s:) I'd rather bank with National Bank of Afghanistan than these idiots.

Hey Dan I wanted to get back to you on that request for information, the company that refinishes wheels is "Collision Wheel'" in Bath Pa. It's not to far off #78 near Allentown. They do super work and are reasonably priced. The phone # is 610-837-8792.
I am narrowing down my search for a 11 second 1/4mile machine, I like the one made by Backdraft, it uses the suspension and rear from the 3 series. I just have to figure out what to power it with. I figure with that suspension and if I can keep the weight under 2500lbs it will be quick on the straights and awesome in the twistys.
