Great wheel, great price. I'd grab this in a heartbeat if I still had a stock wheel.

Victor... around $900 if you can find one. CEC used to import them, but no longer does.

I've got this one (Victor) for sale. It is new, but didn't fit my '99 (12/98 build). It should fit '99 build (not 1999 model year) and later E38, as well as some 5-series.
I was soooo pissed when I took my stock wheel off only to found out it won't work for me...

Rob,

do you keep the heated steering wheel functionality with the Victor? can't lose that after using it! totally off the subject, did you get your seats to function 100% properly? i sent you an email a while back and we were both having similar problems with your ///m seats and my sport seats

Geno...you have mail!

Unfortunately, no. With how much quality effort they put into the product, I was surprised they did not start with a heated original.

They function properly in terms of all the movements... but I do have the SRS light on. The wiring signals will get straightened out, I just have not had the time to do it yet.

wow...that is odd, and unfortunate cause i'll never give that option up now!

same here...just haven't had the time to mess around with it. all the movement is good, but my airbag light stays for my passenger side and my drivers side seatbelt light won't come on. i wish i could find the wiring diagrams for the 01 seats and 98 seats for i could match them up...that would be perfect!

oh, do you recommend anyone in my area (MD) to install uuc springs my car with EDC? Induktion Motorsports is closet to me, but i don't trust just anyone with my car.

I had Bart at BMW towson install mine. He is very very meticulous and makes sure everything is right. He is also a BMW master tech, E38 expert and owner, and the only person I trust with my car. If you are going to go with this option, drop me a PM and I will meet you there. :)

I do not remember off the top of my head, but I have the bill somewhere at home. I will look after work. (where I am now :nono) You can always give them a call at 410 296 7900 and ask to speak to Bart in the shop, when you get him tell him you are a friend of Omar's. Just be forewarned it is hard to get a hold of him, since customers are not technically allowed to speak to tech's directly.

BTW in terms of complexity, our version of the E38 has everything to make it the most "annoying," with the rear sun shade, S EDC, etc that all needs to be taken out to get proper access to the rear springs. All of that has to then be put back together again. :eyecrazy

BTW, my car is there now as we are trying to sort out some minor issues, so I will be visiting him this evening after work before I go home.

actually, that stuff is already removed and ready for the springs to be done...so that part is cake. actually, what time are you going out there today? i don't really have much going on and i could probably meet you out there and meet the guy for myself and maybe we can even schedule something for later.
