Whoa... :eek: :eek: :eek:
Today i went out to start my engine this morning. The battery was kinda weak and so it did not turn as quickly as it normally did. But the engine made the wierdest noise and vibrations. First it did like a chug chug chug chug for a while, at the same time slowly shaking to the chug chug chug chug noise. Then after i gave it a tad bit of gas, it went normal again. Scared the crap out of me. It's never done this before. Could it be a leaking exhaust gasket?

dont worry about it, it happens on my 98 540 every once in a while, i know exactly what your talkin about, but im pretty sure its all good

post some pics of your 99 540!!

Could be leaky valve cover gaskets fouling the plugs....?

yeah, that NEVER happens on M62s......
