New battery: remote is not working. . .

Hello all!
The cold weather is upon us, and my five year old battery just announced that it is kaput. No biggie, got a new one, reprogrammed everything back to normal, and oops! . . The key remote is not working! I am trying to find any information on how to enable it again, but no luck so far.
Is this as simple as resetting the OBC? I though it did that while I was swapping the battery :dunno.

If you do, then look in the INDEX (back of the book) for "initialize key" or "program remote". It appears that your battery may have been disconnected long enough for the key to have lost its programming.
