I know that ppl hold a type of ranking list on e36s and i wanted to know where a 92 325is sat?
for example my list would go:

M3(OF COURSE)
325is
325ic
328
325
all the rest
and then my last would be the hatch back 318 (not saying its a bad car but not my favorite amongst bmw's)
what kind of list do u guys have?

IMHO, looks wise, the 318ti with the Sports Package (M3 Bumpers/Side Moldings/lowered) falls right behind the M3.

Without the Sports Package it's ugly.

Considering the 92's didn't have vanos, and the 96+ e36 (328 and 318) are more powerful, I don't think it is that easy. (what years are the m3 guys, 95-99?)
I might rate it:
m3
96+ 328 (i, is, ic)
93-95 325 (i, is, and if there was a 95 ic)
92 325 (i, is,)
96+318 (i, is, ti)
318 (i, is-no 92-95 ti right?)
