upgrading a 318is BMW

i looked on this site for more information, but it was hard to come by,
this is what im looking for, i just bought a black 318is. its really in good condition, but it only has a 4 banger thats auto(sigh i know). Now i have a little money left over, because i went with a cheaper car, this is where everyones knowledge comes in.
i would like a list of parts, or ideas, to help make my car get that little extra speed with out dropping 10k, i would be willing to drop about 3k.

and threads just like this one are probably the easiest info you can find on our forums. do an advanced search limited to the E36 subforum. be creative and use words like '318' or '318 upgrade' or 'DASC' and you'll have plenty of info.

I'm not trying to kill the discussion but the info is NOT hard to come by.

As far as the body goes, just look through the Rides and Style (or whatever its' called) section and just see what you like. There are alot of different ways to go on body styling. Good luck with the car man and welcome to the family.

i live in austin, hill country, and im lazy, with shifting, i know i know, crazy, but i did already own a BMW, my moms, i fell in love, then i had my heart broken, when i slammed it into the guy, coming around a blind corner, while he was stopped, looking a house, friggin moron, anyways, it was a 95 525i, nice mom car, but i wanted sporty, and i got it WEEEE, anyways, thx
