OK,
today I was talking to a couple of guy, and they were just telling me, that to buy turbo parts would not run me more than $1,500. And then another grand for install.
And telling me, that Turbo is so much better, then S.C.
Could someone tell me- what am I realistically looking @ to spend to get TURBOs bought and installed in my car?:95

I guess stuff like this should be in the FI forum..
Without getting into details, the parts will cost about 2.5K, and maybe 1-2 for fab and install,
You have a 318 though, and hands down, you cant get better, with reliability, than the Downing Atlanta SC kit.

This question sounds like a rehash from the 80's.
I have (2) Super Charged Vehicles (GTP & M3) and (1) Turbo Charged Vehicle (Eagle Talon TSi AWD). Turbo/SC are just two different means to an end, Forced Induction. Both have Positives and Negative attribute associated with them.
Which is better? I guess it would depend on the individuals need and depth of pockets!
As far as costs. I would say around $3000-$5000 + $1500 for installation and another $1500 on a good FMIC with someone to do the plumbing. Remember the Turbo is only the beginning of a complete Turbo build up!
**Trust Me.. :) $11,000 later ** Shhh don't let the wife! :D
