M42 '94 cyliner head the same as a '95?

Does anyone know if the cylinder heads are identical?

The cylinder head is from a 94 318is...

I read all related posts and documents. I cannot fine out if the heads are identical.....

If it is an M42 then the head will work, if you are trying to mix M42 and M44 parts then it will require some customization.
