uglist E39 color combo

i'm planning on picking up a Sienna with Tan interior 540 this saturday and i honestly have to say... it's kinda ugly color combo. i mean, it'll look decent with a light tinted window (since it's sport, it's got shadow line) but still... red and tan!??!??

so, what does everyone here think?

Actually, I think that is one of the nicest color combo's going. I was going to buy a C5 with that color (magnetic red and tan) combo.

i like that red color... i really don't like the sand color (exterior) 528's with the stock non-sport rims.

I think you'll dig it. I'm Electric Red and Tan and it is simply great. Admittedly, my Red is waaaaaaaaaaay brighter than Sienna.

98 540i with 85K miles with nav and the whole shee-bang for 15.5; not bad. it does have a small ding/dent on the front passenger fender and the mirror switch broke off but other than that, everything is working well. there is a dent in the oil pan but my mechanic (who only does BMW, P-cars, MB's) said it's not a big deal.

i think the worst e39 exterior color is the one that looks like toothpaste.

oh, i also forgot there there's chip on the windshield but that could be taken cared of at the dealer when i go get the gauges replaced.

dead pixels. part of my bargaining chip since BMWNA should just do it for 1 hour labor but on the safe side i told the guy it's a $700 part.

I like how it looks but thje tan interior SUCKS to clean and maintain looking in show condition....the floormats stain easy....I just hate it....like my grey lthr in my 5 better than the int, of my 325....I have the same kind of grey in my e46 and 318ti.....the 325 was the only way I differed and hate it...love the car, buyt hate the interior

i'm looking for black interior dash and upper parts. want ot go black and tan interior but not hte way stock one are. the stock black and tan which was sold outside of the US isn't all that good lookin'.

I like the sienna....I wish it was a tad more darker imo... Actually I woulda seriously considered it if it was offered in the yr I bought my car.

Exterior in that sand or the green is my least most fav e39 color

I hate tan interior, it's too hard to keep clean. The red isn't so bad but I wouldn't buy one that color.

Imola Red over Caramel is (IMHO) the BEST exterior/interior combo.

Almost as good as Techno over Kiwi.... :D

yes, that's for the summer but what i'm talking about is the two tone; the upper part of the dash with the nasty dark tan is going to be black and everything associated to that color is going black. even thinking about doing the headliner and pillars black. so basically at the end, just the seats, center console, lower carpet (mats are going to be black), and arm rest is going to be the light cream/tan color.

Black on grey is the best. Black on black is 2nd best. Green on tan is the worst just ahead of purple on black.
