I decided to see how well it fit so I placed it up there as you can see in the pics. First off, a little bit would have to be trimmed off of the top left corner, and second, it doesn't sit flush with the bumper on the sides as you can see. Do you think it's worth it to modify it to fit? I already have it so I could either 1)modify it to fit and sell M3 bumper (already have) 2)pay to get M3 bumper painted and use that or C)sell all M3 bumper stuff and buy a diffuser from bav auto or bmp or whomever. (sorry about dirty car, it was raining all day)

Well, if you're handy with a dremmel - you've already got it, so why not?? You don't have to repaint it since it's just plastic and supposed to be black, so I'd say go for it. See if it works. That'd save you 150$ or so from bavauto. Tell us how it turns out.

Well dremel-ing off the top corner is the easy part. The hard part would be grafting on part of the old 'diffuser' so that it would mount up nicely. As you can see in those gaps on the side, it's a couple of inches away from its mounting points.

id say just have your M3 bumper painted and put on. you can mess with the stock one all you want, but it will never look like the M3 one. If you can prep the M3 bumper yourself that will save you a lot at the body shop.

If I understand you correctly, you have two bumpers right, the 325 and an M3? If thats the case I would just have the M3 painted and sell your 325. It would be a lot less stress to just get it painted then having to mod the diffuser on to your stock, and it would look solid instead of an add on.

i would agree with the other guys, paint the M3 bumper, or sell the M3 bumper and buy a diffuser that fits straight on to your standard bumper with no messing about!
