View Full Version : Just looked at the MINIs!

I visited my local BMW dealership this afternoon and saw the MINI Cooper for the first time up close and personal. It's a cutie!

The dealership had three MINIs, one of them was a Cooper S 6-speed in Electric Blue. The two regular Coopers were silver and a dark blue...one being a 6-speed and the other had the variable speed automatic transmission.

It's a very unique looking little car. I guess somewhat like the VW Beetle was when it came out.

The price looks to be favorable for BMW to sell a lot of these cars.

I can't wait to hear what owners say about them as time goes by.

I have yet to drive the S but put money down on one about 3 weeks or so ago!!! Found out a week later that I might be moving into NYC and can't use it but we will see. My Dad already said he would pick it up!! Just waiting for the dealer to call me for a test drive!! :D:D

I saw one in person for the first time last night. It was hard to get a good look because he was headed the other way but it looked sharp.

Yeah, here in Georgetown/GWU (in DC) there are a few college folk with them....not too bad if you ask me, a little on the small side, but just right for the girl or smaller fellow ;)

Our family car was an original Mini when I grew up as child in the 80's, It never looked as good under the bonnet as these babies:
