Who has the best price on the M5 Clutch kit to go with the UUC stage 2 flywheel? I'm getting a Stage two this week but I need a clutch kit.

Try eBay or Bimmerparts.com. I believe eBay has it for $288 + $20 shipped. I have to pay tax on this though as it's in CA. Bimmerparts.com, I believe, have it for $319 + shipping.

Where did you get your stage 2 flywheel? After I get this clutch kit, I'll be looking for a flywheel. :D

I got it from a member here in the forum. I can't wait to install it, You know what sucks, I just dropped the tranny to do the crank rear main seal that was leaking and after the re-install I decided to do the upgrade, ain't that a bitch, Oh well I guess I'll have to do it again. I use to have a Turner Motorsports flywheel but the chattering was too much so I took it off. I just put a new clutch on it about 6 months ago, so this time will be the 3rd time I drop this thing :D .

Wow, that sucks. Any details on this flywheel so I know what to expect?

Did you get it used or new? If used, how was the condition? Resurfaced? How many miles? How much did you pay for it?

Thanks!

Well I got it used, It was used for like 25k, not resurfaced, you can't resurface LTW flywheels but you can replace the friction disc which is the part where the clutch disc engages (surface area). No need to replace mine as it is in good shape. I will keep you posted with the results and if I get any chatter. I got a good deal on it, good luck. :buttrock

Ahh, I see. That's good to know. But it doesn't really help me unless I know how much you paid for it. I just don't want to pay too much for one. Thanks!
