I am planning on getting a new bmw soon either a 6-series or an m5

If i get a 6 then i'll probably get this bodykit long with it: http://www.tuningnews.net/gallery/hamann-6/pic.php?id=05

I know that the m5 probably can get more performance, but if I am modding it what performance options can I put in?

Links to some sites would be good :)

Also which car do you think is a better buy?
Money is no issue (less than $95k w/ mods please nono)

would i be able to put the body kit i linked to above onto the m6?
i really like that :)

also, when will it be released?
i've heard that it has the same 507 hp engine as the m5 is that true?

i say get both an m5 and m6, that way whichever mood ur in i can still hate you for having one of the greatest cars in the world

and im sure they will come out with some dif body kits for the m6 that will totally kick ass, not like it really needs one

If the new 6 series retain their value like the old 6 series -- Then I say get an M6...

how much more will the m6 cost compared to the regular 6?

im planning on adding subs, a new body kit, and some performance upgrardes

would vertical doors (lambo doors) look good on this car?

There is really no comparison between a 645 and a M5. Just get a M5 and don't look back. I have heard of delays so if your not on the list or don't have connections, you could have to wait awhile. A 645 should tide you over until the M comes out.

A M6 vs. a M5 is a better comparison. Since price is not a problem, get the M6 and treat yourself to the extra 50 or so hp.

Alas, the M6 should cost 100K+, so why not just treat yourself to a 997 turbo instead.

If you look at prices for the 545i and the 645i, then the m6 should be quite a bit more than the m5. But if money is no objective, the m6 will be classier, the m5 is more practical. You could always wait for the m6 csl that's rumored...

I chose the e28 m5 over the e24 m6, so my answer is m5. At the end of the day when you compare to the other cars that are as fast as yours, yours will be so much more practical with the extra room.
