Ebrake Rattle Question Please Help

hey guys if i put my ebrake handle all the way down i can hear a spring rattling around inside the handle and at 80mph it drives me up a wall, if i pull the ebrake to the first click before it engages it goes away put i dont like the idea of having an ebrake clicked in the first place, what is it this? adjustment please help its driving me nuts

Sounds like your cables could use some tightening. Pull off the leather boot and you'll likely see that the adjustment nuts could be tightened. I would pull up on the ebrake, loosen the lock nut, release the ebrake, pull on each cable with your fingers and spin the adjustment nut to the bottom, pull on the ebrake, and tighten the lock nut.
