View Full Version : Can I tint my side mirrors for glare redux?
At night, maybe my eyes are too sensitive, but I get these beams of light from my side mirrors. Is there any amount of tint that would work, and not make it bad during the day? Suggestions? Ideas? Pros Cons?
Thanks Dave

You could always go with a light tint like 50% or so and then if you didn't like the results, simply peel it off. After all, they are glass.
As far as tinting it would be very easy because it is a flat piece of glass, but i don't think the durablity would be very high since tint is supposed to be on the inside of your windows, not exposed to the elements outside the car.

Thanks...
Actually its not really a "picture", it's a single video frame that I exported to a jpg image. A buddy of mine bought a Sony TRV11 miniDV camcorder and we were bored one day so we went out and shot some film. I recently picked up Adobe Premiere 6.0 so I can use the firewire capture stuff on my computer, and the program allows you to export individual frames as images. One of these days i'll finish up this one mpeg video of my car and upload it!
