Viscous trouble

hi guys, noticed a strange noise coming from the lump today, seems that the viscous coupling sound like the bearing has gone.
will it have to be replaced, or can it be fixed??

if replacement is the option, is the m40 fan the same as any other model, as my mate is breaking an 535, will it fit???

How hot does it get in the UK? If I remember correctly, it is usually quite cool year round. If so, perhaps a fan delete might be in order. Doing so will free up some hp.

what get rid of the fan altogether!! it's about 33 degrees c, in the height of the summer, does that give me enough scope to remove it, or should i fit an electric for the odd time its probably required!!
