I currently have my 318is sitting on Dunlop A2 Sports. My read tires are pretty low on tread so my plan is to get two A2 sports to put in the rear this spring, and for the winter just get two Dunlop M3s for the rear.
Everything I read says to always run winter tires in pairs of 4.
Do any of you think I will have major problems running A2 Sports up front and M3s in the rear?

Put the better tires in the back, the recipe for trouble is losing rear end grip when braking. I know it sounds silly but that really is the way you shoud put them.. always more grip to the rear in the winter especially.

Running just two snow's is a bad idea, trackition of the fronts will be very different from the rear, read what tire rack says about that. recipe for trouble.
