Well here goes,

Got the tires in today from tirerack thanks to Jim. Got 2 225/35/19's and 2 235/35/19's for my 97 328i. These are going on Hartage style 19X8.5's with a 38mm offset. Lets just hope they go on my car with a stock suspension. I'm very worried about the front spring sitting on the tire. Through all of this I have an extra brand new set of tires 245/35/19. Guess I shouldv'e came to the forum earlier. Hopefully it works and ill get the pics up to you soon.

Why did you get a taller tire for the rear? You'll mess up the speedometer a little.

Taller? Its wider. And no luck tonight, by the time I recieved the tires from UPS, NTB was closed.

The front will easily fit. 225's are fairly narrow. If you have a problem with rubbing the strut, you can just run a small spacer.

FYI, a 235/35-19 is taller than a 225/35-19. The sidewall number is a percentage of the width, not a fixed number.

I stand corrected. Also, i'd like to thank you guys for your help. Many thanks to Jim at tirerack for the info and the tires.
