I have a 1999 540iA. I took the car to the dealer because my local mechanic told me he was able to stop the fan with his hand. The BMW dealer said that is correct. Is that true?
Also, my radiator had a leak and the dealer replaced it under warranty. However, my check coolant light still comes on even after it was filled. Perhaps I have an air bubble.
Also, when I first picked up the car after the radiator was fixed, there was a huge humming noise coming from my intake area? What is that about? Any ideas!
Also, should I buy an extended warranty? I have 50K on the clock.
