View Full Version : This sucks... No more Dinan Exhaust after MTech

After putting on the Mtech rear, I thought I would be able to get the muffler shop to relocate the Dinan exhaust to fit. Turns out because of the POS angles of the exhaust, there was no way to do so.

Ended up getting a universal magnaflow exhaust and some type of ovalish tip that the exhaust shop had in stock... They didn't have much in stock and I wasn't going to drive with the Dinan hanging all the way to the left and bottom of the bumper. Got a pretty good deal though on the exhaust, tip, and install. $150. For some odd reason the car accelerates smoother now... :confused

So anyone looking for a Dinan exhaust? ;)

Damn that sucks.
I can't say I have heard to many bad things about magnaflow though.

The Magnaflow sounds pretty good... The sound of the Dinan seems to die down after 3k rpm whereas the Magnaflow is still there. The tip I have has a resonator thing on them also. I wanted the dual round tip Magnaflows but had to settle for this one. It reminds me of the prev. E39 w/ the Remus.

cleoent, I am done with the mods at this moment for awhile... I really need to get my control arm and tie rods replaced... Once that is done... next would be a new paint job... Probably going to be in the far far future when I have the extra cash and time. :( My car has like 6 tones of silver and paint chips all over the hood and fender...
