Finally got around to installing my sub, and finally taking a few new pics. The sub is a focal polyflex 27H (I think) and a dimensions amp (can't remember exact model). My brother gave me his sub and amp which was in his 325, but his zhp came with HK so he did not want it. I just wanted some bass, not crazy-blow-your-eardrums-out bass. I used a line-out converter so I could use it with my stock headunit. It sounds great, nice and clear bass.
Also took some new fog pics.

Here is the set-up, unfortunately, the box was to big to fit under the trunk shade, so I had to place it in it's back. I will be getting a new box that will fit under it, but a few places want about $200, just for a box. I know I know, it's kind of ghetto placement, but until I have an extra $200 it will stay like that. It does not affect performance. Or you can donate $200 to me:thumbup:

If you have any questions about the install, feel free to ask.

turn the sub around and center it more in the back. if space is tooo much of an issue u can leave it against the seats but please please pretty please turn the sub around so the sub fires towards the back of the car. it will sounds better and louder

zerofighter...If you want a DIY I can design a smooth box to fit in nice and tight and look sweet. All you will need to do is build it. Let me know I can have some plans for you.. It not hard at all and you will save money and know that it is done right. Just get me the measurmants and the speaker model and what you want out of the box and what is pushing it.

Brian down the line I might have you help me out with a box, if that offer stands for me as well.

Zerofighter; your car looks great and the sub box matches pretty well in that pic. A friend of mine owns a maritas*sp* blue 540 touring that just under went some EXTENSIVE modifications. cough*superchargerrimssystemsuspension*cough. He gave me a mod list and a company that helped him with a suspension setup, since he had the self regulating suspension just like you.

I can give you the name of the company that made his suspension parts and put you in contact with my friend. He has taken his car to crazy levels and really knows the car itself. Let me know if you want some help.

We will have recent pics this coming weekend. He is attending our SLO 5er meet so we will get updated pics then.

Here are pictures that me and Jensen took this summer out our socal 5er meet:

Keep in mind that the car looks nothing like that now. I won't speak on what he has done untill he gives me the go ahead, but I can definitely help you out with modifications for your touring.

Let me know.

Yes you can get just springs and shocks.
I believe my friend is sponsered by them right now.

If you saw the modlist on his car and his future plans you would shit yourself.
I know I did.

You should also add an amp and set it up for your stock speakers... they will sound so nice and clear that you won't even believe your ears. I have 2 amps right now on my 528; one for my sub and one for my stock mids and highs and when I say they sound nice, loud and clear i'm not sh*tting you.

I do have an amp for the sub, but I don't think I will be getting a second amp for the stock mids/highs. I'm not that hardcore into ice.

amp for stock components is pretty retarded anyways, they can hardly handle ur stock watts. so then ur talking about replacing all ur components plus wiring plus install labor fees if you can't do it yourself (can get pretty complicated) and thats talkin bout big bucks. fortunetely i have quite large connections for car audio and can do it all myself so i will be doing it all soon

Yes it is true, but like you said if you have connections like we do and you can also do things yourself, it's not a problem. But believe it or not, I'm running my stock speakers with a 4 channel Amp and you can hear me coming down the block and is already been 10 months since i installed my system and i haven't blown any of my little speakers.... you just gotta make sure you do it right. And again our friend here is not into loud music; so he's better off I guess.
