I recently purchased an E39 M5 and want to sell my 528i. Refer to Autotrader.com using zip code 94065 for pictures.
Mileage: 77,000
Visually:
Interior is mint. Exterior is good. Good and not excellent because there are chips in the front bumper and hood due to many freeway miles by the first owner. There are several bird dropping stains in the trunk - I hate birds. They can poop anywhere on the planet, but it just happens to be on my car.
Mechanically:
I had the transmission replaced at around 47k under warranty because the engine light turned on. It drove great, but the computer said there was a problem. The dealer said they didn't know what it was, but it would be cheaper to replace the whole thing. Sounded good to me because it means a new tranny at 47k. 30k miles later, it's still as good as before. Seriously, I think it was just a bad sensor in the first place and that the original tranny was fine.
Aftermarket Options Installed:
Hella Celis front and rear lights $1300
M5 kidney grill $80
Clear side markers $30
Ski bag in the rear seat $230
Price:
Will sell with celis lights and clear side markers for $20,700. Will sell with original lights for $20,000.
I hope someone can enjoy this car like I did. For me, it's on to the next level of cars.
