I am very interested in selling it. I have thought of giving ebay a try. What do you all think it is worth? Obviously, I know what I paid. What will the market bear right now? Garage kept, only been in rain twice. Perfect conditon. Black/black with every option except the rear window shade. Please email me directly.

Shouldn't be long. I have been a customer of John Roberts in Dallas for over 25 years now and I should be near the top of the list... So who knows...

I checked Manheims web site (nationwide dealer car autioneer), and average money on an 2003 M5 is $57,500. Clean money (meaning the car is low mileage and above average condition) is $62,700. Bear in mind this is what car dealers are paying *wholesale*. So if you were to trade it in, expect to get somewhere around there. Now, if you are willing to sell it yourself to another private party, expect to get a few thousand more. Perhaps 60 to 67 grand.
If you are definitly planning on selling it, I'd be sure to do it right away. As the new M5's trickle into the U.S., there are going to be a surplus of the older M5's coming to the used market, thus driving the price down.
You should just keep the M5 for another year or two and let them work the bugs out of the new M5. With so much new fancy stuff on the new M5, and the new motor, who knows what potential quirks could be lurking. Unless of course you just can't wait, and money is not an object.
