Are there any companies that make the knock offs that aren;t the 3 piece ones? Only place I've even seen the 3 piece ones are bekkers.com...any help here?

With rather large spacers, yes the regular 3er ones would. I believe they make them in the correct e39 offset as well though.

Single piece type III are definately made for the E39, which makes me believe that 3pieces do also.
I find it hard to fit 3er ones to the E39 with spacers. The offset for the 3ers is about 34 and the 5er's 13. Don't quote me on the exact numbers but they do lie in these regions.
