This thread has been created to provide a library of the member's FI 1/4 mile track results. When posting a timeslip, make sure to post ALL relevant info, including, but not limited to,

+ This is just my list, there are others!

+ Please post any updates or corrections here, I will keep it updated

+ Every country has differing laws about what constitutes a "street legal" vehicle vs a "racecar". I've defined a racecar as follows:
- Chassis modifications (includes wheel tubs or clearancing to fit larger rubber under the bodywork, widebody conversions)
- Live axle replacing an OEM IRS setup (like Ford 9" or aftermarket 9" conversions)
- Competition gearbox (clutchless, boxes that cannot downshift or pop into neutral when you get off the gas like Liberty, G Force, Jerico)
- Exhaust that does not exit at the rear of the vehicle
- Lexan replacing glass windows
- Feel free to post feedback on the above if you have an improvement, correction or addition

First time to the track:

Spun through 1st then it was time to follow the e55 amg's (yes stock 2005 e55 amg's timeslip on the left) tailights to the end! I think with a decent launch, 60', and a little more boost I can get it into the 7s! New clutch time too as it started slipping under high boost the next day.

i love the new E46 M3
but i wanna have a fast ET car.
i dont see too many fast ones around in fact i think there is only one M3 right now in the 11s. there is also no turbo kits available for this car

11.9 @ 123 @ LACR with 5000+foot Density altitude and sand on the track (you can see dust storms in video). Guys run .5 sec slower with 5 mph higher speeds at another CA track thats not even good. I could have without a doubt hit low 11's @ 130mph at ATCO, and if i squeezed, mid 10's at 135+mph (too bad the car is being torn apart now).

Mods for the run: Stage 3 AA SC kit, full exhaust, DR's, Nitrous bottle was misfilled.

I was hoping for 13.5 or under so I was happy with the results.

Other specs

Car/Driver weight 3530lbs (oink) - 3/4 tank of gas, no prep was done to the car, left the office, went to dinner and then headed to the track. Laptop, backpack, files and microfiber towel in the trunk. Tire pressure was probably in the 32-34psi range.

My last trip to the strip was a little over a month ago when I ran my car with the automatic. My best time that evening was 14.5 at around 95mph.

Changes since that trip: swapped the auto for a 6 speed, swapped the 3.91 for a 3.46, and then paid $$$$ for a tune that resulted in 16 less rwhp at the dyno(from 338 down to 322):mad I am working to get that right, but that is not the issue here.

Current car setup: 97 M3 sedan, stock engine, Vortech V1 S/C @ ~11psi, no aftercooler, 42lb injectors, 3.5maf

Toyo T1R 255/35/18 @ 22psi
spare, sub box, and trunk mat removed. Around 1/4 tank Amoco 93.

My best run, I launched by being brutal on the clutch, and it showed when I pulled 2nd and 3rd which slipped a good bit before fully biting. Wheel spin was none.

Track conditions: ~93 degrees, ~ 85% humidity

But, damn how are running 16-18psi on AA stage 2?? IIRC, you are running a td06 20g. I thought the 20g taps out around 15psi??

BTW, what was your 1/8 mile trap and e.t.??

It's not really liking the 16-18 psi. I can only get it to hit 18psi in 4th in the midrange, then it drops off.

Once I get an sc61 I will be shooting for ~115 :D
