I sort of inherited a BMW 6 CD changer. I tested it with the stock radio/ Business CD and it works fine.
My question is about mounting the changer. Looks Like I need a bracket kit part number 82 11 1 469 911. Can anyone confirm that this is the right kit for a 2001 e39 without Nav?

That looks about right. I think I paid something like $25 for my kit but wherever that parts site goes back to has very good prices. I checked the site for some parts prices and figured my dealer was maybe 50% more or maybe 100% more. However, a $5 part on that site was $25 at my stealer!

Thanks for the replies.
Can't get to the site now, server is down. I will try later.
I ordered the kit from the dealer today. I think it was like $36, listed as $25 in the accessory catalog I got from them a couple of months ago. They wanted $53 for the cupholders that the catalog lists for $34.50. Looks like I'm going to get overcharged again. At least I can take it back easily if it doen't work.
