After paying outragous insurance payments and attempting to pay off my dad, I no longer can afford to drive this beast. I would like to sell my M3 for a white 89-91 325i/is plus cash. Or just sell the M3 all together (if the price is right). Ive been the third owner for two months now, and am ashamed that I have to go this way. The previous owner owned the car for a year and put 60k commuter miles, going to and from Arizona, every week. The car has 162k miles, but I did a full leakdown test a couple of months ago (upon purchasing it), and it came out perfect. This car has literally been babied. I have done a fair amount of maintenece work since I purchased the car. The clutch IS original and still has quite abit life left, and the vanos unit looks new. The downside is that there is a small dent in the front passenger side fender(from vandalism), but can be easily taken out. The intereior is close to immaculate, except for a very small hole in each of the vader seats. Paint is Original, and the title is clean. I have all the maintenece recipets from the previous owner and what was recently done.
Here is everything:
95 Alpine White 2dr/M3 on Black Interior
162k Miles
Heated Vader seats
Recent Maintenece done (within a month):
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
Valve Cover Gasket
Bosch O2 Sensor
Exhaust Rubber Hanger Mounts
Oil Changed w/Valvoline Fully Synthetic 20w-50
Trany Oil Changed
Coolant Flush
Water Pump, Radiator, etc.(done by previous owner at the dealership)
Recently Coditioned the leather
New Full Size Spare
New Passenger BMW Window (w/re-tint)
Additions:
Clears All Around
Hamann Motorsport Exhaust w/Polished tips
Rolled Fenders
MB Quart Components
Kenwood Head Unit
4 Channel Alpine Amp
Pics (minus BBS RC's and french fogs/ellipsoids): - wll post pics in a second.

That's crazy, I remember looking at Allen's car when it was for sale a few month's ago. It's up for sale again this fast. Makes me wonder if there are any unknown problems. so you said your selling because the insurance on the car was too much?

Correct. Also, I owe my dad 5k, and I am going off to college soon and wouldnt want to be paying insurance on a car like this. With the financial situation that I am in, I made the mistake of going the e36 route.
There are no internal problems with the car. Like I said, I had apex do a pre-purchase inspection and full leak down test. The numbers came out to be 2% all the way down, except for 4% in number 3, which really doenst matter, because if there was a leak it would show up in the last cylinder. The only major thing that could be replaced would be the RTAB's and shocks + struts. Put a custom suspension set up on this car, and you'll be set :).
Looking for 10k firm.

Too bad Saul. Should have kept the E30. I put alomst 7-8k into my E36 M3 after I bought mine. The majority of the cost was just maintenance.
Good luck

did you have a compression test done?
Yes, I had a full leakdown test (with 160k miles, I had everything checked out before I bought teh car) done by Apex Motorsports..... http://www.apexmotorsports.com as well as a list of all the small things that need to be done ot the car (ie RTAB's and suspension), in order to make it in tip top shape. Sure enough after Apex did the pre-purchase inspection the car showed to be in near tip top condition.

Oh yeah, forgot to add. The bulid date is 2/95, so it does NOT have the retainer problem as seen on the pre 10/94 build dates. Its also a California car *rust free* (first owner owned it in Los Angeles, and second San Diego).

Nope, sorry buddy. I cant afford e36 period. I really made a mistake going to the next level :(. I wish I could afford my car.
The RTAB's themselves are cheap (only 50 dollars). Where you get your money's worth is if you attend an RTAB meet.

Do you have any interest in an '88 E30 M3? I'm looking to move up to an E36 and yours looks great. My car is also Alpine White (alpinweiss I) with black interior. There are no rear seats however, since the roll bar is back there. There are rear side panels though, so you would need to just find the rear bench and backrests.
Let me know,
Thanks

insurance prices vary by so many circumstances that its not accurate to say that "oh its cheap to insure a 92 325i". My 1994 325is costs 3500 a year to insure. Full coverage on my mom's policy with 500/500 collision/comprehensive deductible. Reason why my insurance is so high is because of the way my mom insured it, covers up to or over 1 million in property etc... also because im 19.

Pretty much, unless the seller backs out before Thursday.
If the guy for some reason decides not to fly down here from San Jose to pick it up, then it goes to Gorgasm who said hes willing to pay 9500 cash for the car. And if he backs out, there is about a line of 3 other people, unless you are willing to pay more than 9k.
