I have been given quotes of $1500 to 1800 for doing the leather on my mule.

I have talk to World Upholstery and they quoted me $1140 for a front set. I would still have to arranged from a list of local authorize sources actual installation. (No need to change my foams). They also have matching spray die kits to match the color you pick from what seems to be BMW color code (did not verify if color code was also year specific).

Does anybody know what my best options would be?

I have used many local shops and they can do a good job.

Here is a picture of my Comfort seats and they have been repaired at least two times.

Here is my car with a mixed seat configuration.

I have a spare set of e30 sport seats, I can use in mine.

I also sell a kit to allow the e30 seats in the wider e24 bodied cars.

I have a local upholstery guy here in Los Angeles. Please email me at ADELATOA@YAHOO.COM if you would like his address and number. I have gotten my seats done with him for 300 bucks in cloth. I am sure it will be a bit more for a set of leather ones....my advice for saving money is buying the material and asking for just the labor.
