Door trim with M3 logo broken?

My passenger side door trim (the one with the M3 logo, not the one inside the door, but on the outside of the car) appears to have weakened and will no longer mount back on the car. The clips will not mount on the other side due to rust and cracking. Is there any efficient way to get the clips on the backside of the trim and/or to get the trim back on the door and looking clean? I have tried a little epoxy and after a couple hours of drying it just fell right off. Any suggestions?
