this is a 95M everytime i hit 6K RPM the check engine light pops on. I have had the car for about 6 months it hasnt done this before. I bought it from my sip rebuilt with cams. P7P. knife-edge crankshaft, tita.valve springs and retainers. It is only at 6,000RPM and goes away anything above or below it. Juststarted happening this morning on the way to work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks alot.
p.s i know cihp, injectors, 3.5in intake and exhaust are waiting to be put on just waiting on MAF

You need to pull the code (obviously). Check the Bentley manual or use a Peake reader.

sounds like knock sensors.

I agree, pull the codes and see what the issues may be.... If you dont have a Peake reader, just drop by our site for one. Good luck!

O2 or knock sensor.
Do the pedal mash trick to get the codes. (do a search here for the mash procedure)

Titanium valves on a street car?
Not a good idea...
As for your check engine...I'd venture an O2 sensor as my 95 did this a couple times when I first bought it. The CEL would come on ~6K and then shut off when I let off or the RPM's dropped.
Get a scan.
