Swapping out manual HVAC for autoclimate?

I have the 1995 manual climate control and it bothers me, how at night, you can't see a damned thing! I dont like guessing where my knob is at .. I find myself thinking I'm around 72 degrees when in reality I just cranked it to 80 something!

Anybody ever swapped it out for the digital and automatic climate control? I would definitely like it.

Seems like it shoudl be a plug-n-play operation, right? :eyecrazy
