I'm lookin for an e36 323is, 325is, or 328is. My 318i was totaled a few days ago and I wanna get back behind the wheel of a bimmer and onto the road asap. I'm looking to spend between 5 and 7k. As for the years, I'd take any 323is or 328is and preferably a 325is '94 or newer. Mileage, 120k or less but again this is only a preference. I think I'd go for any color. I live about 30 miles north of Philly. I know I'm being a little picky but as I said, my 318i was just totaled a few days ago and the guy who caused the accident ran away. I'm certainly willing to do a little negotiating. Post, pm, or email me if your interested or might be able to help me out. Thanks.

It's a 1993 325 that I purchased a couple of year ago from a person who worked as a mechanic at Autothority here in Fairfax, VA. Like more folks on the forum, must to the frustration of my wife, I too enjoy working and playing on the car.
The car had a 2.5 motor with just a K&N filter and chip. I took the car to Bimmersouth in Georgia to have a 1997 motor (3.2 M3) put in by their shop....at the same time I had them change out the front brakes, interior seats, instrument cluster and steering wheel to 1997 M3. The car has always been maintained by Autothority and they installed the RMS Supercharger and build a custom chip. We elected to retain the OBDI on the car for the increase in performance you can see the dyno sheets on the photo page also.
I had a local well known body shop paint and install the M3 body trim front, sides and rear. I installed a set of headers (more for me then performance) and lastly installed an AA cat-back stainless muffler. I then finished the touch with M3 interior floor mats and door trim but no outside badges as its not an M3. I removed the 18inch wheel that came on the car and installed M3 staggered wheels I just had Michelin Pilots mounted. The spare is matches the set. Additionally, I have an extra set of wheels with snow tires for those really bad days.
I installed 1997 M3 headrests in the rear and upgraded the stereo speak system to MB Quartz - the rear speaker are 6X9 with tweeters installed in the interior to balance the front and the rear. There is a custom enclosure in the trunk that houses a 12in sub.
The body has around 120K on it and the motor has around 90k. The Vortech super quiet (SQ V2) was rebuilt by Vortech prior to the install just for my piece of mind.
I had a set of the angel eye headlights but removed them from the car to change out the location of the K&N filter. The headlights are stored in a hard case in my garage.
I also installed a UUC Motorwerks short shifter in the car with a Momo shift knob.
For $12.5, I will not be able to leave the DVD player/Nav system in the car (heck that alone runs around $3k)...but for a bump more, everything is negotiable as they say.
I'm sure there is something I'm leaving out - but this certainly will provide an idea about the car. The reason I'm considering selling the car is simply because I have two sons in college and now have four cars at home for two people - one is my latest addition - an AC Cobra. The money is for a new engine - remember - it's the size of the toys as they say.
Thanks for asking.

Hey Fastbmw,
Sent you an email - pls check. You're car is interesting. I live so close to you it would be easier to see it than ask so many questions via email.
Thanks,
Barrett
