In the latest European Car there is a silver M3 that has corners that don't seem as light as the euro clears that I have on my Cosmos M3. Does anyone know about these, where can I find them. The don't look as dark as the "smoked" ones that they have in Bav Auto....
Thanks,
Greg

http://www.travisharrell.com/m3/DSC01510.jpgNo, actually they look great.
Do you think they'd look silly with the standard euro sidemarkers? I only really notice how light the euros are up front. The sides and the rears are air tight.
Do the ones from Bavauto come with silver bulbs?? FYI, I've been trying to track down smoked ones but they seem to be short in stock everywhere right now. I think Pinnacle only has smoked for the front signals, but no sidemarkers in stock and definitely no taillamps for verts for now.
Oh, I tried to order some from Bavauto a month ago but they were backordered (and still are). Apparently they get them from Bekkers.

I think they would look fine with Euro sides. I have smoked sides (they are black and match the molding)
Here's another pic to show the color of the corners (this is before my Depo+DDE install)

i love the smoked corners. i bought a new set of clear ones but only used them for a month cause a friend of mine gave me his extra set of smoked ones. i feel in love with how it matched my cosmos paint so well. unfortunately my smoked corners got stolen off my car the other day and now im using my clear ones (which i dont like cause it look to white for the car). Im trying to find another set of smoked ones.

i took a chance on a set of ebay smoked corners. They fit as well as any OE pair I've ever had, they clip in very solidly, and fit is great. They're tinted exactly like jeebus' pair, and I think they're a MUST on cosmos. The regular euros looked too light. My sides are not smoked, and it doesn't look odd at all together. The sides are so small and inconspicuous.

Yeah, the smoked look really great on cosmos. I was looking for a cosmos car when I bought mine, but I happened to find a great deal on a hellrot, so I snagged it. Do any of you run smoked on hellrot? I'd love to see some pics, as I am debating over clears or smoked. Thanks :-)

OEM clears with the egg yolk look better, IMO...matches the rear and sides more:

Pino if you are interested in trading your smoked clears, I have a set of OEM 4dr clears that I just bought about a month ago from Pacific.

FWIW, I just ordered my smoked from Bav Auto (for shame) and they already shipped. I guess the backorder is over...

For the bulbs in the corners, do 1156 or 1157s work?
I also have a spare set I want to get rid of, but they say 1156A. Whats the with the A?
I'd like to buy some new bulbs & corners from Bav Auto just got to know what to buy.

Not sure what's up with the A, but I think I remember the bulb type being 1156. There should be two dimples behind the bulb.
As for corners.. I think OEM clears with egg yolk removed looks really nice on silver.
For black, I think clear corners with egg yolk are perfect.

Well I went with BavAuto factory-style clear, but smoked. With the 1156 bulbs. It will look exactly like Jeebus' setup which is nice since I have silver as well. Now I just need to do the 97+ Nosepanel/kidney/blackedout conversion. :love1

I got some smoked depos from ebay a long time ago. With a little clip trimming I was able to get the perfect fit and have been happy with them, I've got clears on the sides and rears and think it blends just fine. The clears imo were to light on my daytona violett m3. I think it's more of an issue on dark cars.
