I am about to purchase 18's for my 95 M3. I want to get 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. I know the fitment is 5x120, what offset do I need, or will it even work? Also, what tire sizes should I go with? The car will have coilovers, and I would think the shop could do some moderate fender rolling if necessary.
If I decide to go the BBS CH 18x8.5 route all the way around, what tire sizes would you suggest? Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Just talked to the wheel place with the wheels I like. Roja formula 5's. He said the offset is 40mm. Will this work for both front and rear? Thanks.

yea that will work. +40 for the front is a little conservative, but for the rear it should look pretty flush. i would go with some 235/35s

Thanks. I am pretty sure that 225 front and 245 rear will fit fine with coilovers installed, I am debating trying 235 front and 255 rear, I am a little weary that I will run into needing to do some extensive fender work. Anyone have thoughts on that?

yea go with 235s in the front, 225s are a little small for the front. 255s will fit in the rear. depending on negative camber and how low you are, you might have to roll your fenders.

well it all went up in smoke today, ro_ja does not make the formula 5 wheels for bmw fitment anymore, looks like i am going with the bbs ch 18x8.5 the way around, any suggestions with tire size, would like to go as wide as possible without major fender modification. Thanks!!

225's on a 8.5" rim are small. I know because i have this setup. I would say the ideal size for 18x8.5 would be between 235/40 and 255/35

I agree with your previous post. Go 235/35 or 235/40 up front and 255/35 outback.
Although, i also heard that having staggered tires on non-staggered rims is unadvisable...
